The building automation control systems are crucial for maintaining quarantine integrity and ensuring the containment of BSL-3AG agricultural plant pathogens as mandated by 7 CFR 331. Work Details The contractor is required to provide maintenance and testing services for the building automation system, which integrates Distech Controls and American Auto-Matrix technologies. Key tasks include: 1. Furnishing 960 contractor hours for a factory-authorized technician to inspect, test, conduct system-wide backups, and perform maintenance on the existing building automation system. 2. Addressing control sequence issues, temperature stability problems, sensor reading fluctuations, and loss of control/program settings to ensure smooth operation of the facility 24/7. 3. Providing critical spare proprietary parts necessary for the Distech Controls and AAM controllers as part of the service contract. 4. Conducting all work during normal hours (6:00 am to 3:30 pm) with a minimum work week of two days (16 hours) and approximately 80 hours per month, with prior approval from NCAPP’s Facility Manager. 5. Including an additional 50 overtime hours for emergency repairs outside normal working hours, ensuring priority response availability 24/7.
