Background The New Hampshire Department of Administrative Services, through its Division of Procurement and Support Services, is seeking bids to establish a contract for the supply and delivery of aluminum sign blanks. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the State has a reliable source for these materials, which are essential for various state signage needs. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for supplying aluminum sign blanks that conform to specific standards. The materials must meet ASTM B 209 specifications for Alloy 6061-T6 or Alloy 5052-H38. The minimum thickness for sheets less than 36 inches in longest dimension must be 0.080 inches, while sheets 36 inches or greater must be at least 0.100 inches unless specified otherwise. All aluminum sheets must be properly degreased and treated according to ASTM B449 Class 2 and receive an Alodine 1200 coating or equivalent to meet Federal Specifications MIL-C05541. Additionally, any requested hole punching will follow the M.U.T.C.D. standards without additional costs. The contractor must also provide all necessary labor, tools, transportation, materials, equipment, and permits required for delivery. Period of Performance The contract term will commence upon approval by the Governor and Executive Council and will run through March 31, 2031. There is an option to extend the contract for an additional two years under the same terms upon mutual agreement. Place of Performance The delivery of products will be made to designated state agency locations within New Hampshire as specified in individual orders. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be duly registered with the NH Bureau of Purchase and Property as State of New Hampshire vendors and comply with all local regulations. Corporations or limited liability companies must also be registered with the New Hampshire Secretary of State. Vendors are required to provide proof of comprehensive general liability insurance coverage prior to performing any services.
