Background The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is soliciting bids for the Overlay Wolf Creek North & South Mill & Fill project. The MDT's mission is to ensure safe and efficient transportation systems in Montana. This contract aims to enhance the road infrastructure in the Great Falls area. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following services: 1. Mobilization - 1 Lump Sum; 2. Supply and installation of 1/2" Commercial Plant Mix Grade S PG 58H-34 - 5,858 Tons; 3. Period of Performance The contract work is expected to commence after the bid closing date on January 29, 2026, and will continue until completion as per the project schedule outlined in the solicitation. Place of Performance The work will be performed in the Great Falls area of Montana. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be registered with the Department of Labor and Industry prior to contract execution. A bid proposal security based on 10% of the total bid is required for bids totaling $150,000 or greater. Compliance with various requirements including Bid Security, Contract Performance Security, Owner's and Contractor's Protective Liability Insurance, Worker's Compensation Act, and Prevailing Wage requirements is mandatory.
