Background The Florida Department of Corrections, Office of Community Corrections, is seeking to lease space for a Probation and Parole Office in Pinellas Park, Florida. The goal is to find an existing building that meets specific requirements for use as a facility to supervise high-risk offenders. The Department has authorized Savills Occupier Service as its exclusive representative for this solicitation. Work Details The Department requires a minimum of 3,725 square feet and a maximum of 4,999 square feet of net rentable space in an existing building. The offered space must be enclosed with a roof system and exterior walls in place at the time of submittal. It should be suitable for occupancy or renovation without replacement. The proposed space must be on a single floor with contiguous access. Additionally, the successful Offeror must provide all necessary build-out and cleanup services, utilities, trash removal, maintenance, janitorial services, pest control, security, and other related services as outlined in the Quote Submittal Package (QSP). The lease will commence on January 1, 2028, with pre-occupancy availability required by December 23, 2027. Period of Performance The lease term will be for an initial period of ten years from occupancy with two options for renewal of five years each. The effective date of the lease is January 1, 2028.
