Background This solicitation is issued by the Forest Service for the Tongass National Forest (TNF) in Southeast Alaska. The goal of this contract is to establish a Firm-Fixed Price, Requirements, Non-Personal Services contract for commercial elevator and lift maintenance. The purpose of the contract is to ensure that all elevators and lifts are fully functional, compliant with ANSI/ASME and OSHA requirements, certified, and safe for use. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and other non-personal services necessary for elevator and lift maintenance across multiple TNF facilities in Southeast Alaska. Services include preventive maintenance, inspection, testing, minor repairs, remote monitoring, and load testing to ensure operational safety. All services must comply with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), manufacturer’s technical manuals for each unit type, and applicable local, state, and federal standards. Period of Performance The period of performance includes 1 Base Period of 12 months starting from the date of award and 4 Option Periods of 12 months each. Place of Performance Work will be performed at multiple TNF facilities located throughout Southeast Alaska including Juneau, Craig, Thorne Bay, Sitka, Wrangell, and Petersburg.
