Background The Regional Contracting Office Parris Island is conducting market research to identify businesses capable of providing maintenance services for White Carousel Conveyor Systems at MCRD Parris Island. The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational efficiency of these systems, which are critical for the Marine Corps' logistics and operations. Work Details The contractor will provide scheduled preventive maintenance and unscheduled service maintenance on White Carousel Conveyor Systems, including garment conveyors, carousel interface boxes, retrievers, and light trees located in various warehouses at MCRD Parris Island. Specific tasks include: - Performing necessary maintenance to ensure optimal operating conditions; - Responding to unscheduled service calls; - Conducting four quarterly preventive maintenance visits per year; - Furnishing all standard repair parts and labor for replacements at no additional cost; - Responding to reports of disabled equipment within 24 hours; - Coordinating with a Government Point of Contact before and after services; - Notifying the Point of Contact if equipment is not at specified locations or if model numbers differ from those listed in the contract. The contractor must also submit a signed inspection/work ticket upon completion of service calls, detailing contract number, line item number, model number and location of item repaired, date of service call, description of service performed, and signatures from both the technician and government point of contact.
