Background This solicitation is issued by the 402d Software Engineering Group (SWEG) at Robins Air Force Base, GA, for a sole source award to Data Source, Inc. The purpose of this contract is to provide maintenance services for the DataScribe Duplication System, ensuring its operational efficiency and reliability in support of the agency's mission. Work Details The contractor shall furnish labor, travel, parts, and materials necessary to provide scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance of the DataScribe Duplication System. Services required include: 1. Scheduled Maintenance: Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) four times per year at three-month intervals. This includes system software upgrades, licensing issues, optimizing system software, making corrective adjustments as necessary, lubrication, cleaning, and replacing maintenance parts. 2. Annual system certification including any upgrades to software and licensing in support of SWEG. Specific annual support items include: - Annual Support for existing control unit and two HP 9144 tape drives. - Annual Support for existing control unit with two Blu-ray disk drives with Acard SCSI adapters and three LS-120 3.5” floppy disk drives. - Annual Support for existing control unit with five 4MM tape drives and various other tape drives. - Annual Support for existing control unit with CD/DVD writers and additional tape drives.
