Summary

The purpose of this sources sought Request for Information (RFI) is to identify vendors capable of providing maintenance, repair, relocation, and installation of Audio Visual (AV) equipment in support of NCTC, Gulfport, MS . This notice is a request for vendor's capabilities, and does not serve as a solicitation. The surveillance systems located within two buildings currently consist of an estimated 58 surveillance cameras of varying makes and models, 4 DVR recording units, multiple NEMA-rated environmental enclosures, DVD burners, and UPS battery backup systems. Quantities, manufacturers, and models of installed equipment may change throughout the period of performance as a result of replacement, modernization, or additional equipment acquisitions. Background The Naval Construction Training Center (NCTC) in Gulfport, MS, is seeking vendors capable of providing maintenance, repair, relocation, and installation of Audio Visual (AV) equipment. This non-personal services contract aims to support NCTC's mission by ensuring the functionality of surveillance systems within its facilities. The NCTC is an active Naval shore activity that provides training support to various military detachments. The contract will involve managing and maintaining a variety of AV equipment, including surveillance cameras and recording devices. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for all labor required for maintenance, repair, relocation, and installation of AV equipment as specified by NCTC’s Designated Government Representative (DGR). Tasks include: - Maintenance and repair of approximately 58 surveillance cameras, 4 DVR recording units, NEMA-rated environmental enclosures, DVD burners, and UPS battery backup systems. - Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with AV equipment. - Performing up to eight service calls per month with less than 10% being emergency repairs. - Ensuring compliance with performance work standards without supervision from government officials. - Providing preventative maintenance services to minimize major issues and costs associated with repairs. - Submitting detailed work orders upon completion of services that include start and completion times, hours worked, descriptions of maintenance requests, and resolutions. Period of Performance The contract period will consist of one base year of 12 months with four additional option years of 12 months each. Place of Performance The work will be performed at the Naval Construction Battalion Center in Gulfport, MS, specifically within two buildings located within a 3-mile radius from the gate at 5510 CBC 8th St.
