Replacement of Chillers, Kearneysville, WV

Background

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) has a construction requirement to enhance the facilities at the USDA Appalachian Fruit Research Station (AFRS) located in Kearneysville, WV. The goal of this contract is to furnish and install two new water-cooled chillers and associated equipment to improve the operational efficiency of the research station. Work Details: The contract includes the following tasks: 1. Base Clin: Furnishing and installing two new water-cooled chillers along with associated piping, valves, and other necessary components. 2. Option 1: Furnishing and installing two new condenser water pumps with associated piping, valves, etc. 3. Option 2: Furnishing and installing four new condenser chilled water pumps along with associated piping, valves, etc. The contractor will also be responsible for adhering to security procedures, document control, fire safety plans, and waste management plans as outlined in the solicitation. Period of Performance: The contract will be performed over a period of 90 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Place of Performance: The construction projects will be performed at the USDA Appalachian Fruit Research Station (AFRS) located in Kearneysville, WV.
