Background The contract is issued by the United States Air Force, specifically for Tyndall Air Force Base (AFB). Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks related to the Lightning Protection System for Area 8500: - Design of a comprehensive lightning protection system tailored to the specific needs of Area 8500. - Installation of all necessary components of the lightning protection system, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations. - Testing of the installed system to verify its effectiveness and reliability in protecting against lightning strikes. - Adherence to environmental controls as specified in Appendix C, which includes compliance with EPA regulations regarding hazardous waste management and stormwater discharges. Period of Performance The contract performance period is set for 240 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed.
