Background The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is seeking information to support its Office of Protective Services in acquiring a comprehensive, fully integrated public safety and police administration system. This initiative aims to unify various law enforcement technologies into a cohesive platform to enhance the safety and security of NGA personnel, facilities, and assets. The current operational environment necessitates advanced technological capabilities to meet evolving security demands. Work Details The contractor is expected to provide a holistic solution that includes: a core police administration system, body-worn cameras, TASER 10 energy weapons, in-vehicle mobile data terminals (MDTs), and automated license plate readers (ALPRs). Key tasks include: - Assessing the maturity and readiness of available technologies and vendor capabilities. - Ensuring seamless data integration with NGA for advanced operational and analytical functions. - Clarifying requirements to inform the development of a potential future Request for Proposal (RFP). - Gathering information on technical architecture, data management protocols, security features, and operational workflows of proposed solutions. - Addressing constraints such as adherence to NGA's stringent IT infrastructure requirements and ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
