Background The National Park Service (NPS), Northeast Region, New England Major Acquisition Buying Office, is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a construction requirement at Lowell National Historical Park in Lowell, Massachusetts. The goal of this contract is to upgrade security systems for four park structures within the park, enhancing safety and security measures. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for upgrading security systems at four structures in Lowell National Historical Park. This includes the installation of closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems, new card swipe readers (PAC), and supporting electrical service. Additionally, the contractor will install a new security demising partition on the 3rd floor of Boott Mill #6 and new security doors on the 4th and 5th floors of Boott Mill #6. Detailed specifications will be provided with the final solicitation documents. Place of Performance All construction projects will be performed at Lowell National Historical Park located in Lowell, Massachusetts.
