Background This requirement is to supply propane and propane tanks to the Fort Knox, KY Installation. The mission of the contracting agency is to ensure a reliable supply of liquid petroleum propane gas for operational needs. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary materials, labor, and equipment for the installation and maintenance of propane systems over a specified period. Work Details The contractor shall provide the following services and supplies: 1. **Bulk Propane**: Supply 30,000 gallons of bulk liquid petroleum (LP) propane gas to designated locations throughout the Fort Knox Installation for 29 tanks. 2. **Propane Tank Rental**: Provide 27 propane tanks for a duration of 12 months, including installation, maintenance, and repairs at various locations within the installation. 3. **Replacement Parts**: Provide and install replacement parts as needed due to damage. All tanks must meet federal and state regulations; they do not need to be new but must comply with safety standards. The contractor is responsible for maintaining equipment in good condition, responding to emergency calls within 24 hours, and ensuring that all installations are completed within 30 days of notification.
