Description
Primary Latest Change

The United States Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center is performing market research to inform future system level requirements and/or prototype development/build efforts which integrate next generation uncooled thermal sensors. The desired systems shall incorporate Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) thermal sensors. These thermal sensors will be compliant with a TBD Interface Control Document and will be lens-less. The system integrators will need to design an appropriate lens for the application that will interface with the sensors to demonstrate the advanced capability and prove out Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6+ by being assessed in a relevant environment. Responses including complete systems and/or individual capabilities/expertise listed below are welcome. Proposed systems should focus on showcasing these advanced sensors in systems that are optimized for low Size, Weight, and Power and Cost (SWaP-C).

Summary (Newest Update)

Background The United States Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center is conducting market research to inform future system level requirements and prototype development efforts that integrate next generation uncooled thermal sensors. The goal is to develop systems that utilize Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) thermal sensors compliant with a TBD Interface Control Document and lens-less design. The systems should demonstrate advanced capabilities and achieve Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6+ through assessment in relevant environments. Work Details The C5ISR Center requests information on the following: Company Information including name, business designation, address, technical and business points of contact with their contact details, CAGE Code, facility clearance level, and Joint Certification Program (JCP) DD Form 2345. Technical Information should include vendor capabilities related to the RFI, existing technology addressing requirements or modifications needed, relevant experience in integrating EO/IR sensors into prototype systems, innovative solutions for requirements or planned research with timelines for deliverables, assessment of technical maturity/technology readiness level of technology, rough order of magnitude cost estimates for integration timelines and prototype quantities or specific capabilities. Additionally, any comments or concerns regarding sensor integration and prototype build are welcomed.
