IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE, THE CONTRACTOR MUST SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING WITH THEIR QUOTE: - The offeror is registered and has no active or inactive exclusions listed in their Entity Record on the System for Award Management (SAM). The government will check this in SAM.GOV. - The metal roof system installer shall be approved, authorized, or licensed/certified in writing by the roof panel manufacturer and have a minimum of three (3) years of experience as an approved, authorized, or licensed/certified installer with that manufacturer, and approved at a level capable of providing the specified warranty. weather event (e.g. hurricane). Offerors must show previous experience on a minimum of two (2) contracts/projects. - The offeror is to submit a technical proposal that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all requirements set out in the Statement of Work (SOW). Background The contract is issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, specifically for the Engineer Repair Yard Warehouse Roof Replacement project. The mission of the agency is to provide vital public engineering services in support of national interests. The goal of this contract is to replace the roof of the Engineer Repair Yard Warehouse, ensuring it meets current standards and provides durability against severe weather events. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Installation of a metal roof system, which must be performed by an installer approved, authorized, or licensed/certified by the roof panel manufacturer with a minimum of three years of experience. 2. Submission of a valid North Carolina general contractor's license with a specialty 'S' (Roofing) classification from the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors. 3.
