Background Seymour Johnson Air Force Base is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to conduct market research and identify capable vendors to support the Air Force Repair Enhancement Program (AFREP). The AFREP aims to enhance mission readiness by repairing and refurbishing unserviceable aircraft parts instead of procuring new items. The base has identified a need for vendors who can meet specific component repair requirements that were not fulfilled in previous solicitations. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, tools, and equipment necessary to repair F-15E aircraft parts to a serviceable condition. The specific components include Engine Cables and LOD Repair. The contractor must furnish all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other non-personal services necessary for the repair of F-15E aircraft parts as outlined in the performance work statement (PWS). All repairs must comply with Department of the Air Force Instruction (DAFI) 21-101 and applicable technical orders. Inspections must be performed upon receipt of parts, with documentation maintained throughout the contract period. Standard repairs should be completed within 40 days; mission-critical repairs must be completed within 20 days. The contractor is required to provide a shipment tracking number and ensure that all repaired products meet OEM standards.
