Fairchild is seeking a contractor to provide service to perform recycling collection, processing, marketing, transportation and delivery of recyclable materials and operation of an on base recycling center at Fairchild AFB (FAFB), WA .. All work will be performed in IAW the attached performance work statement.

ANTICIPATED NAICS/SIZE STANDARD

This requirement falls under the NAICS Code of 562920 Material Recovery Facilities with a size standard of $25 Million.

SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION

All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties will be required to respond to the resultant solicitation separately from their response to this sources sought notice. A responsible potential sources shall have registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). Background The U.S. Air Force, specifically the 92d Contracting Squadron at Fairchild AFB, WA, is seeking authorized businesses to provide recycling services. The goal of this contract is to efficiently manage the collection, processing, marketing, transportation, and delivery of recyclable materials while operating an on-base recycling center. This sources sought notice serves informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Develop recycling collection routes and schedules for submission prior to contract performance; ensure 100% collection and processing of recyclables weekly. 2. Provide additional recycling containers for special events as directed by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). 3. Maintain and relocate recycling containers as needed, ensuring they are returned to their original position after servicing. 4. Track and document the disposition of government-provided recycling containers and report monthly totals and locations. 5. Ensure cleanliness of collection areas and notify the COR of any issues with contamination or misuse of containers. 6. Weigh all recycled materials according to state regulations and maintain accurate records of weights for reporting purposes. 7. Collect recyclables from designated workspaces including cardboard, paper, aluminum cans, plastics, and ink/toner cartridges. 8.
