B-1B Power Take-Off (PTO) Shaft Remanufacture - Firm Fixed Priced 5-year IDIQ This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 336413, which has a corresponding Size standard of 1,250 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HUBZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.

Remanufacture Supply Quantity, including any options for additional quantities: 240 unit's total Unit of issue: Each Destination information: Hill AFB, UT Delivery schedule: 4 units per month maximum Duration of the contract period: 5 years In accordance with DAFMAN 16-201 , the contracting officer must identify if there are any restrictions on foreign participation: There is currently no restriction on foreign participation. Collins (Goodrich) is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only source who currently possesses the design configuration, production, engineering, and process data to remanufacture the B-1B PTO Shafts. The Government does not have the capability to qualify another repair source, there is not currently an approved Repair Qualification Requirements (RQR) document that would facilitate the qualification of another source. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
