Background The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is issuing a full and open competitive Request for Proposal (RFP), W519TC-26-R-0007, for the demilitarization, recycling, reuse, treatment, and disposal of various conventional ammunition families. This contract supports Project Manager Close Systems on behalf of Product Director Demilitarization. The goal is to efficiently manage the disposal of conventional ammunition while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Work Details The RFP includes the following Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) Groups: - CLIN Group 1: 30mm Depleted Uranium (DU) Cartridges - CLIN Group 2: Improved Conventional Munitions (ICM) - CLIN Group 3: 20mm Cartridges - CLIN Group 4: Hexachloroethane (HC) Smoke - CLIN Group 5: Flares - CLIN Group 6: Rocket Motor from MLRS. The maximum total quantities for ordering periods are as follows: - 7,808,241 Each – CLIN Group 1, 30mm DU - 477,996 Each – CLIN Group 2, ICM - 9,646,144 Each – CLIN Group 3, 20mm Cartridges - 1,413,631 Each – CLIN Group 4, HC Smoke Munitions - 2,696,833 Each – CLIN Group 5, Flares - 17,500 Each – CLIN Group 6, MLRS. Contractors must submit unit prices for each CLIN for the Minimum Guaranteed Quantity (MGQ), each quantity range, and all five ordering periods. The awards will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts utilizing best value trade-off processes. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract will be five years from the date of award. Place of Performance Ammunition will be shipped from various Army sites including Anniston Munitions Center in Anniston, AL; Blue Grass Army Depot in Richmond, KY; Crane Army Ammunition Activity in Crane, IN; Hawthorne Army Depot in Hawthorne, NV; Letterkenny Munitions Center in Chambersburg, PA; McAlester Army Ammunition Plant in McAlester, OK; Pine Bluff Arsenal in Pine Bluff, AR; and Tooele Army Depot in Tooele, UT.
