The goal of this contract is to replace the roofs at the Manchester Research Station located in Port Orchard, Washington, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements. Work Details The contractor is required to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to replace existing roofs with similar standing seam style metal roofs. This includes: 1. Replacement of the North Roof of Building B1-2-3 (approximately 1,750 square feet) with standing seam metal roofing. 2. Replacement of the North Porch Roof (approximately 200 square feet) with similar roofing materials. 3. Replacement of the Mid-Section Roof (approximately 1,330 square feet) with standing seam metal roofing. 4. Installation of underlayment, vapor barriers, flashings, and permanent roof anchors as needed. 5. Limited replacement of deteriorated plywood roof sheathing where specified. All materials must be suitable for marine coastal environments.
