Summary

The 82nd Contracting Squadron is seeking sources capable of providing all necessary management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor for the periodic inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of commercial kitchen exhaust hoods and associated ductwork. Services are to be performed in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 96. A copy of the current PWS is attached. The requirements in the attachedf document may be changed at the time of solicitation. This is not a solicitation. The Government will not be accepting any quotes, bids, or proposals at this time. Interested parties will not be reimbursed for any costs related to responding to this notice. The information gathered from this notice will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a future procurement. The Government is open to questions and suggestions for revisions or clarifications to the potential requirements. Background The 82nd Contracting Squadron is seeking sources capable of providing management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor for the periodic inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of commercial kitchen exhaust hoods and associated ductwork. This contract aims to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 96. The information gathered will help determine the acquisition strategy for future procurement. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for: 1. Emergency Services: Begin emergency or special hood and duct cleaning services within 5 hours of notification during both duty and non-duty hours for Sheppard AFB and Lake Texoma. 2. Notification: The Contracting Officer Representative (COR) will notify the contractor when emergency services are required. An After Service Report (ASR) will be utilized. 3. Contractor Provided Equipment and Supplies: The contractor must provide all necessary equipment including a lift for rooftop access, ensuring it is clean and in good repair. Maintenance of equipment shall not occur on government property. 4. Contractor-Furnished Vehicles: Must provide vehicles that are clean, operable, and meet safety requirements with company branding displayed prominently. Vehicles must be inspected by base safety personnel as needed. 5. Quality Control: The contractor is responsible for quality assurance systems to ensure compliance with contract requirements; monthly evaluations will be conducted by designated personnel to monitor performance against established thresholds. Place of Performance Services will be performed at Sheppard AFB and Lake Texoma.
