Background The contract is issued by the 11th Airborne Division Arctic Aviation Command (AAC) for the procurement of aircraft skis, hardware, and survival pods necessary for the operation of CH-47, UH-60, HH-60, and AH-64 rotary wing aircraft in Alaska. The purpose is to ensure operational capability on tundra, muskeg, and snow as per US Army regulations (AR 95-1). The goal is to implement streamlined procedures for the procurement of these items to assist in both scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance. Work Details The contractor must supply the following items: 1. Ski assembly, forward for CH-47 - Quantity: 1 Each 2. Ski assembly, aft for CH-47 - Quantity: 1 Each 3. Ski, left, single - Quantity: 1 Each 4. Ski, left hinged, single - Quantity: 1 Each 5. Ski, right, single - Quantity: 1 Each 6. Ski, right hinged, single - Quantity: 1 Each 7. Tail ski assembly for UH-60 - Quantity: 1 Each 8. Ski kit, non-hinged - Quantity: 1 Each 9. Ski kit - Quantity: 1 Each All items are required to be delivered in accordance with the specifications outlined in the Scope of Work (SOW) and relevant Airglas manuals. Place of Performance Delivery is to be made to Fort Wainwright, Alaska 99703.
