Background The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 10, located in Seattle, Washington, is seeking facility support services to assist its operations. The EPA has approximately 450 employees occupying 10 floors in the Park Place Building and requires support for various administrative and operational tasks. The goal of this procurement is to ensure efficient facility management and support services that align with the agency's mission. Work Details The contractor will provide a range of facility support services including: 1. Mailroom Operations: Handling incoming and outgoing mail, sorting for approximately 25 office locations, operating USPS and courier software, preparing bulk mailings, and managing certified and registered mail. 2. Supply Operations: Allowing self-service supply replenishment, maintaining inventory levels, reporting unfillable orders, and managing supply requests. 3. Copier Operations: Operating production photocopiers with a focus on timely completion of copy jobs, prioritizing urgent requests, and maintaining adequate paper supplies for multi-functional devices. 4. Property Operations: Supporting property management functions by tracking accountable property items using an Automated Property Management System, conducting research on missing items, and maintaining an item control log. 5. In-House Graphics Services: Providing desktop publishing assistance, creating consumable graphic products like brochures and flyers, and preparing technical requirements for large-scale print jobs. 6. Shipping and Receiving: Scheduling shipments of equipment to/from the regional office, receiving freight shipments, inspecting for damage, and managing packing materials responsibly. 7. Service Operations: Performing minor repairs to furniture/equipment, relocating items within the building as needed, supporting conference room setups, and managing public outreach equipment.
