Background The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of obsolete DC power plant systems at Fort Campbell, KY. The goal is to ensure reliable power by replacing outdated rectifiers and inverters that are past their useful service life. This project is part of the Army's mission to maintain operational readiness and efficiency in their facilities. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for a complete turnkey solution, which includes: 1. Furnishing and installing new inverter modules and DC disconnects. 2. Installing new AC conduits, conductors, and circuit breakers from the Main Distribution Panel (MDP) to the new inverter system, and from the new inverter system to existing Inverter Panels. 3. Installing new rectifiers, RPM modules, and battery monitoring probes to the DC Plant. 4. Installing new AC conduits, conductors, and circuit breakers from existing Rectifier Panels to the new DC Plant and from the new DC Plant to existing battery banks. 5. Establishing a grounding system from each inverter system and DC Plant to the building grounding system. 6. Transferring power connections from existing Inverter Panels to the new Inverter system and making final connections from MDP to DC Plant. 7. Disconnecting and removing existing rectifier and inverter components once the new system is operable. 8. Providing shop drawings and product data with a review period of 30 days for each submittal. 9. Performing initial acceptance testing. Place of Performance The work will be performed at various buildings within Fort Campbell, KY including buildings 95, 2579, 6079, 6642, 7030, B7254, and 7943.
