Background The Iowa National Guard is seeking to contract for Medical Surveillance Examination Services in Des Moines and Boone, IA. The purpose of this contract is to provide job-related Medical Surveillance Examinations and Occupational Health Services for federal technicians who may be exposed to health hazards in their work environment. This requirement falls under 'Non-Personal Health Care Services' as defined by relevant U.S. laws. Work Details The contractor shall perform the following tasks: 1. Conduct Occupational Health Medical Surveillance Examinations for 71 federal technicians, ensuring compliance with specific standards of physical fitness. 2. Provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control to perform these services. 3. Maintain medical liability insurance acceptable to the Iowa National Guard. 4. Coordinate individual exam schedules with the Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) and affected individuals. 5. Consult with the OHN to resolve any issues during the testing period. 6. Perform a comprehensive review and evaluation within 30 days after testing concludes, including follow-up meetings with the OHN to discuss outcomes. Specific examinations include Physical/Dermatological Exams, Complete Lab Draws, Vision Screenings, Chromium Blood Level tests, Lead Blood Level tests, Cadmium Blood Level tests, and Zinc Protoporphyrin tests. Period of Performance The Period of Performance shall commence from the date of award and continue through May 31, 2026. Place of Performance Services will be provided in clinical settings within a 40-mile radius of Camp Dodge located at 7105 NW 70th Avenue Johnston, Iowa 50131 and at 700 Snedden Drive Boone, Iowa 50036.
