Background The Salem-Keizer School District 24J is seeking proposals for Confined Space Program Safety Services to ensure compliance with safety regulations and to protect the health and safety of its employees and students. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary safety services related to confined spaces within the district's facilities. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing the following services: 1. Conducting assessments of confined spaces within district facilities to identify hazards. 2. Developing and implementing safety protocols and training programs for staff on confined space entry procedures. 3. Providing equipment necessary for safe entry into confined spaces, including personal protective equipment (PPE) and monitoring devices. 4. Offering ongoing support and consultation regarding confined space safety practices. 5. Conducting regular inspections and audits of confined space areas to ensure compliance with safety standards. Period of Performance The contract will be effective for a period of one year from the date of award, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and mutual agreement. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various locations within the Salem-Keizer School District, primarily at school facilities across Marion County, Oregon.
