The Advanced Propulsion Acquisition Contract (APAC) MAC Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract is designed to provide the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Propulsion Directorate (AFLCMC/LP) with the capacity to: a) rapidly develop technologies for novel propulsion capabilities, b) implement unique solutions and innovative ideas, c) advance new technologies and system concepts that provide evolutionary, revolutionary, and disruptive capabilities for the United States Air Force and strategic partners, and d) enables a rapid response applicable to all areas and lifecycle phases of propulsion development including technology maturation, concept development, concept demonstrations, integration, procurement, production, fielding, operations, and sustainment to quickly meet current and future propulsion system requirements, while maximizing the use of the digital environment.

The goal is to support all lifecycle phases of propulsion development, including technology maturation, concept development, demonstrations, integration, procurement, production, fielding, operations, and sustainment. Work Details The contractor will focus on enhancing propulsion technologies throughout the lifecycle from Concept Exploration to Operations and Sustainment. This includes tasks such as: - Research and Development - Test and Evaluation - Production and Fielding - Modeling and Simulation. The contractor shall deliver data as specified in the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and support efforts outlined in the Statement of Work (Attachment 5). Delivery orders may include various contract types such as Firm Fixed Price, Fixed Price Incentive Firm, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, and others deemed appropriate for individual orders. Period of Performance The total Period of Performance for this IDIQ contract shall be fifteen (15) years from the award date. The Base CLIN has a performance period of five (5) years, with an additional five (5) years for follow-on Option CLINs. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at Wright Patterson AFB, OH 45433-7017.
