Background The San Jose Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) is seeking to enhance spatial separation and operational efficiency through the construction of an internal drywall partition. This project aims to provide a one-hour fire-rated internal drywall partition along with an integrated fire-rated door assembly and necessary electrical infrastructure. Work Details The contractor is required to furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, and incidental services necessary for the construction of a one-hour fire-rated internal drywall partition. The scope includes: - Design, construction, and installation of one (1) internal, non-load-bearing, fire-rated drywall partition. - Installation of a fire-rated double door assembly. - Installation of associated electrical systems including outlets. The work must comply with all applicable codes and standards for a complete, turnkey installation. Period of Performance The total Period of Performance shall be 90 calendar days from the date of contract award. Place of Performance All work shall be performed at the San Jose MEPS located at 546 Vernon Ave, Mountain View, CA 94043.
