Work Details The contract involves the supply and delivery of various types of treated lumber as specified in the solicitation. The specific items required include: 1. 200 units of 2” x 6” x 20’ Treated Lumber (S4S) 2. 200 units of 3” x 8” x 20’ Treated Lumber (S1S1E) 3. 100 units of 3” x 10” x 20’ Treated Lumber (S1S1E) 4. 200 units of 4” x 8” x 18’ Treated Lumber (S1S1E) 5. 200 units of 4” x 8” x 20’ Treated Lumber (S1S1E) 6. 100 units of 6” x 8” x 20’ Treated Lumber (S1S1E) 7. 16 units of 12” x 12” x 24’ Treated Lumber (S1S1E). All lumber must conform to NCDOT specifications and be inspected, approved, and stamped by an approved Producer/Supplier listed on the NCDOT Approved Resources Producer/Supplier List. Period of Performance The vendor is expected to complete delivery within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after receipt of the purchase order. Place of Performance Delivery will be made to Haywood Bridge Maintenance located at 619 Paragon Parkway, Clyde, NC. Bidder Requirements Vendors must be registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State and provide evidence of such registration within ten business days upon notification of award. Additionally, vendors are encouraged to promote small, minority, physically handicapped, and women contractors in their bids, aiming for at least a goal of ten percent utilization for diverse firms as subcontractors.
