Synopsis Title

H-1 Program Supplemental Time Microwave Tool This notice serves as a pre-solicitation synopsis: The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a competitive basis for the procurement of the following items of Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE); Quantity twenty-seven (27) Supplemental Time Microwave Tool Set (Part Number P/N 3239AS1720-1, NSN 5895-01-731-1814). These items are in support of the United States Marine Corp (USMC) H-1 Helicopter Program to repair Electronic equipment on the H-1 aircraft. Specific information regarding solicitation N68335-26-Q-1103 will be issued and posted on the SAM website in the near future. No telephone or written requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Amendments to the solicitation, if issued, will be posted to the same website. After solicitation release, vendors should regularly access the website to ensure they have all of the amendments. The defense industrial base (DIB) faces increasingly frequent and complex cyberattacks. To strengthen DIB cybersecurity and better safeguard DoD information, the DoD developed the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Program to assess DoD cybersecurity requirements pertaining to Federal Contract Information (FCI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). The items in this acquisition have been deemed to fall into CMMC Level 2- Self-Assessment. CMMC Level 2 requires implementation of the 110 security requirements set forth in NIST SP 800 171 Rev. 2 to protect CUI in contractor information systems.
