Background The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is responsible for managing educational programs for the Department of Defense, operating 161 accredited schools serving approximately 66,000 children of military and DoD civilian families. The agency aims to enhance educational outcomes through high-quality resources and professional development for teachers. This contract focuses on procuring digital teacher resources and professional learning aligned with national standards to improve physical education instruction. Work Details The Contractor shall provide 100% digital teacher resources, formative assessments, and related professional learning aligned with national standards. Key tasks include: 1. **K-12 Teacher Resources**: - Provide commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) digital resources including a teacher guide, instructional packs, and classroom kits that promote rigorous instruction, address challenges, and differentiate instruction. - Develop unbiased formative assessments aligned with the 2024 SHAPE America National Physical Education Standards to monitor student progress. - Offer data-driven instructional strategies based on assessment results. 2. **Professional Learning**: - Deliver asynchronous and synchronous webinars during normal business hours across regions (US, Europe, Pacific). Digital modules must be SCORM-compliant. - Base Year 1: Provide six contact hours of professional learning including three synchronous webinars and three hours of digital modules covering topics like teacher resources overview and national standards review. - Base Year 2: Similar structure with topics focusing on cross-curricular connections and meeting diverse student needs. - Base Years 3-4: Three hours of digital modules or asynchronous webinars each year on topics determined in consultation with DoDEA. 3. **Technical Support**: - Provide industry-standard technical support for digital resources throughout the contract duration via phone or email within one business day. Period of Performance 5-Year Base Period from June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2031; followed by a 1-Year Option Period from June 1, 2031 to May 31, 2032.
