THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUOTATION BUT INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY! This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Luke Air Force Base anticipates a requirement that is being considered under a small business 8(a) Sole Source set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811310. The size standard for this NAICS is $12,500,000. The requirement is to provide: Automatic Door Maintenance for a five (5) year service contract, in accordance with the attached PWS and Appendix A. Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for this requirement. The government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, womanowned small business, veteran-owned small business, or small business) anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers. All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities-indicating examples of commercial sales-and product specifications related to this effort.

Background Luke Air Force Base is considering a requirement for Automatic Door Maintenance under a small business 8(a) Sole Source set-aside program. The goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and repair of automatic doors at the base, aligning with the agency's mission to maintain operational functionality and safety compliance. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Replacement of doors upon request from the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), including providing a detailed proposal and cost estimate for review. All replaced doors must be similar to existing ones, and all materials must have a one-year warranty. 2. Preparation and submission of written service reports within five business days after quarterly preventive maintenance inspections (PMIs), detailing each door's condition, maintenance performed, and repairs needed. 3. Invoices must be submitted electronically after completing all PMIs and associated reports; failure to submit reports may result in non-payment. 4. Reimbursement for parts and materials used in repairs at market prices, with no markup allowed unless pre-approved by the Project Manager (PM). Labor charges will be billed at an agreed hourly rate for routine service calls, with prior approval required for estimated labor charges. 5. Development and maintenance of a quality control program to ensure compliance with ANSI/BHMA A156.10 standards, including procedures to prevent defective services and maintaining quality control records available to the PM upon request. Period of Performance The contract is anticipated to span five years. Place of Performance The work will be performed at Luke Air Force Base.
