The goal is to gather information on potential contractors for a project involving fire suppression systems at Missile Alert Facilities (MAFs) under the control of F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. Work Details The contract involves replacing 1,665 fire suppression sprinkler heads and pendants across 15 Missile Alert Facilities (MAFs) and servicing the fire suppression alarm system at 14 MAFs. The contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and transportation. Specific tasks include: - Replace 111 dry system fire suppression sprinkler heads or pendants at each MAF due to age-related non-compliance with fire code. - Replace existing sprinkler heads with new models: - 765 Victaulic Model V2704 heads with V2726 or approved equivalent. - 105 Victaulic Model V2710 heads with new V2710 or approved equivalent. - 645 Victaulic Model V3618 pendants with V3302 or approved equivalent. - 150 Victaulic Model V3904 heads with V3102 or approved equivalent. - Conduct a Field Survey at each MAF to determine existing pendent lengths prior to ordering replacements. - Perform pneumatic pressure tests before and after installation to ensure no leaks in the fire suppression system. - Provide all required documentation including Contract Documents (CDRLs A0001 through A0019) and a Post-Project Report (CDRL A0020).
