Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation to procure services for the Sitka National Historical Park, with the goal of restoring functionality to the Curatorial Employee Restroom. This restroom has been out of service for over a decade due to waste line failures. The project aims to provide a minimally invasive solution that complies with historical preservation standards. Work Details The contractor will perform the following tasks: 1. Conduct a non-invasive camera inspection of the existing under-slab waste line to confirm drainage functionality. 2. Remove and dispose of one existing toilet. 3. Furnish and install one new macerating toilet, specifically the Sanicompact 4C model or an approved equal. 4. Install any necessary electrical connections. 5. Confirm full functionality of positive drainage for the employee restroom after installation is complete. The work must adhere to federal and NPS standards, including OSHA regulations, and requires a valid plumbing license for Alaska.
