Summary (Newest Update)

Background The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) is hosting a Proposers’ Day in support of the Delphi program, aimed at empowering Americans to understand their own bodies through continuous monitoring of biological information. The event will clarify the program's objectives and promote collaboration among organizations with relevant expertise. The Delphi program seeks to leverage innovative microelectronics to develop affordable, modular sensors for health monitoring. Work Details The Delphi program encompasses four technical areas: 1) 'Dry' Chiplets unique to biosensing, focusing on packaging and interconnect strategies, and developing chiplets for low power management and secure data transmission; 2) 'Wet' Biosensing Chiplets, which involve creating biology-facing sensors for deep biological data detection; 3) Biocompatible Encapsulation, aimed at developing hermetic seals for chiplet packages; and 4) Human Factors Testing or Clinical Trials to assess device usability under realistic conditions. The project will unfold over three phases: Phase 1 (24 months) for component development, Phase II (18 months) for integration and validation, and Phase III (12 months) for manufacturing scaling and human factors testing. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a total of 54 months, divided into three phases: Phase 1 lasting 24 months, Phase II lasting 18 months, and Phase III lasting 12 months. Place of Performance The Proposers’ Day will be held in Tempe, Arizona, with options for virtual attendance.
