Background The U.S. Wildland Fire Service - Winnemucca District, under the Department of Interior/BLM Nevada, is seeking to establish a purchase order for housing accommodations for seasonal fire employees in 2026. The goal is to provide suitable living arrangements that meet health and safety standards for employees during the fire season, ensuring they can respond promptly to fire incidents. Work Details The contractor will provide housing accommodations for seasonal fire employees, which may include hotel, motel, house, mobile home, park model, triplex, or apartment. The requirements include: - Nine (9) units of hotel/motel or equivalent with an option for one (1) additional unit. - Three (3) units of house/apartment/modular home/park model or equivalent with an option for one (1) or two (2) additional units. - All housing must be within a five-mile radius of the Winnemucca District Fire Station to ensure quick response times. - Essential amenities for hotel/motel include beds with linens, bathrooms with showers and toilets, refrigerators, microwaves, HVAC systems, Wi-Fi, TV, regular cleaning services, and access to all available amenities. - For house/apartment/modular homes: full-size refrigerators with freezers, stoves/ovens, dinnerware and cooking utensils must be provided along with all utilities included. - The contractor must ensure compliance with health and safety standards and may be subject to inspections.
