The IHS collaborates with over forty tribes to provide comprehensive health services through a network of facilities. The Indian Health Service (IHS), Phoenix Area Office (PAO) Department of Acquisition (DAM), is seeking a Contractor for dental equipment preventative maintenance and repair services to ensure reliable operation and compliance with OEM specifications. Work Details The Contractor shall maintain and service dental equipment according to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) requirements. Services include: 1) Preventative Maintenance/Planned Maintenance: Scheduled routine maintenance to verify operational parameters, identify faults, and ensure safety; 2) Repair/Corrective Maintenance: Services to restore devices to operational condition when failures occur. The Contractor must provide qualified personnel for on-site visits, perform comprehensive inspections, and ensure compliance with standards set by The Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies. Specific tasks include visual inspections, calibration procedures, electrical safety tests, and documentation of all services performed. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining approval from the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) before any additional work or repairs not covered under the agreement. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a Base Year with four (4) Option Years. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various Phoenix Area Service Units located in Arizona.
