SOURCES SOUGHT (MARKET SURVEY): The National Park Service (NPS) is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of contractors for a possible upcoming project. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy determination based on the results of this market survey. Prime contractors interested in working at Zion National Park, work will consist of: The Work includes but is not limited to partial removal and disposal of an existing concrete dam and headgate structure comprised of concrete, rock, rebar, regrading of the North Fork Virgin River for a distance of approximately 300 feet, construction of a new intake structure including a fish screen, removal and disposal of approximately 275 of existing CMP pipe and concrete manhole, installation of approximately 285 of 18 ADS N-12 pipe (approximately 40 to be placed within 24 CMP pipe), removal of a concrete turnout box, reseating of an existing 12 flume, approximately 150 feet of boulder embankment rip rap and (Option 1) installation of approximately 350 of smart ditch.
