Background The National Park Service Contracting Operations (ConOps) Central, Nekota Major Acquisition Buying Office is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the rehabilitation of fire suppression equipment at Padre Island National Seashore. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of fire suppression systems at the Sea Turtle Science and Recovery Lab, which is critical for the safety and operational efficiency of the facility. Work Details The primary work includes rehabilitation of fire suppression equipment for the Sea Turtle Science and Recovery Lab at Padre Island National Seashore. General tasks will include: - Reprogramming waterflow switches; - Replacing or repairing failed waterflow switches; - Replacing failed air/water gauges; - Performing inspections and maintenance to issue 5-year and 3-year ITM tags; - Repairing backflow prevention assemblies (including disassembly, installation of rebuild kits, reassembly, and testing); - Updating ITM tags; - Correcting inspection tags; and - Obtaining final acceptance. Period of Performance The performance period is anticipated to be 60 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. Place of Performance Padre Island National Seashore, Nueces County, Texas.
