Background The Watervliet Public Schools is seeking qualified contractors for the renovation and addition project at Watervliet Middle/High School. The project is managed by Triangle Associates, Inc., which serves as the Construction Manager under an Adviser Agreement. The goal of this contract is to enhance the educational facilities through various construction activities. Work Details The contract involves multiple specialty trades including: - Concrete Flatwork - Drywall & Related Interior Painting & Wallcovering - Masonry Trades - Mechanical Trades - Carpentry & General Trades - Hard Tile Work - Testing & Balancing - Resilient & Carpet Installation - Building Electrical work. Contractors are expected to provide all necessary labor and materials for these services as part of the renovation and addition project. Period of Performance The work is expected to commence following the bid award and will continue until project completion. Proposals are due on March 25, 2026. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at Watervliet Middle/High School located at 450 E. St. Joseph Street, Watervliet, MI 49098. Bidder Requirements Contractors must register annually with the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity – Wage and Hour Division prior to bidding. A valid registration number must be submitted with the bid. Payment and Performance Bonds are required. Additionally, certified payroll reports must be submitted electronically via the State’s LCPtracker system.
