Background The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is seeking to procure brand name Amazon Web Services (AWS) for the renewal of cloud-based hosting of the National Resource Directory (NRD). This action supports the Medical Affairs, Clinical Support Division and aims to ensure that the NRD remains compliant with the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). The goal is to maintain 24/7 publicly accessible internet access while ensuring ongoing security and management support. Work Details The contractor will provide AWS services that include: - 24/7 publicly accessible internet access to the NRD, - remote access for system administrators, - ongoing security monitoring including detection and response to incidents, outages, and exploits. The contractor will also manage all software servers (database, web servers, application enablers), operating systems, hypervisors, hardware, and network infrastructure within their boundary. Specific responsibilities for maintenance between Consumer/Provider will be outlined. Additionally, web hosting infrastructure and application integration support will be provided. Operations Management will encompass all components and their integration. Period of Performance Base Period: 9/30/2025 – 9/29/2026; Option Period 1: 9/30/2026 – 9/28/2027; Option Period 2: 9/30/2027 – 9/28/2028. Place of Performance The contract will be performed under the auspices of the Defense Health Agency.
