Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the comprehensive cleaning and inspection of nine commercial kitchen exhaust systems located at three government facilities: 1) Fire Station #1 at Building 51, Naval Air Station Meridian (1 system, bi-annual service). 2) Roy M. Wheat Dining Facility at Building 257, Naval Air Station Meridian (7 systems total: 2 systems serviced quarterly and 5 systems serviced quarterly). 3) Fire Station #2 at Outlying Joe Williams Field in Dekalb (1 system, bi-annual service). All work must comply with NFPA 96 standards. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the services. The contractor is also required to use protective coverings to prevent damage during cleaning and must ensure that all chemicals used are non-toxic and non-corrosive. Access panels needed for cleaning must be installed by the contractor at no additional cost.
