Background The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is a U.S. Navy regional industrial center responsible for maintaining, overhauling, and repairing various vessels of the U.S. Navy. Located on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, PHNSY & IMF provides a wide range of services and resources to support SSN 688 and 774 class submarines, surface vessels, and shore-based activities in the Pacific. The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational readiness of OMAX and Flow Waterjet machines through annual preventative maintenance, repair, and calibration performed by qualified technicians. Work Details The contractor shall provide a Manufacturer-Trained and Certified technician to perform annual services on OMAX and Flow Waterjet machines. Tasks include: - On-site annual preventive maintenance, calibration, one major pump rebuild annually, and remedial services for repairs outside the scope of annual preventive maintenance. - Provide an inspection report for all services performed. - Phone support for items listed in Table I. - Preventive maintenance must adhere to current OEM guidelines and include management, labor, tools, materials, supplies, equipment, and transportation. - The contractor must notify PHNSY & IMF if any equipment cannot be restored to operational status within the contract period. - Create complete system backups before and after configuration changes to hardware/software. - Schedule PM visits with designated representatives to avoid disruption to shop operations. - Conduct specific inspections including ball-screws, traction drives; replace servo belts; grease/oil lubrication points; rebuild pumps; conduct comprehensive inspections as per OMAX PA Checklist and FLOW PA Checklist.
