Background The Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1) is seeking to lease utility vehicles to support the flight phase of their training courses. The leasing of these vehicles is deemed critical for providing timely ground transportation on the flight line, directly supporting operations at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, AZ. This contract is a Firm-Fixed-Price agreement for 54 days, aimed at supplying flight line utility vehicle (FLUV) leasing services to qualified U.S. Government operators. Work Details The contractor will provide 15 FLUVs equipped with the following specifications: seating capacity for four individuals, a minimum 12 cubic foot cargo bed with an 800 lb capacity, a minimum ground clearance of 4.9 inches, and a maximum speed not exceeding 20 MPH. Additional features include LED headlights and brake lights, an automatic parking brake, dimensions not exceeding 77 inches in height and 50 inches in width, and a foldable windshield. The contractor is responsible for delivering fully operational and safe vehicles that are completely fueled to the designated location aboard MCAS Yuma. They must conduct thorough inspections prior to delivery to ensure all equipment is free from mechanical malfunctions and meets OEM standards. The contractor will also provide drivers for delivery and pick-up of the equipment.
