Background The Manchester, NH Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) requires monthly cleaning services for its pharmacy IV room to ensure compliance with VA pharmacy policy and USP 797/800 clean room regulations. The goal of the contract is to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in critical pharmacy compounding areas. Work Details The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, equipment, tools, and personnel to perform monthly Triple top-down cleaning of pharmacy compounding cleanroom spaces. The cleaning must comply with USP Chapter 797/800 standards and include the following tasks: 1. Clean and sanitize ceilings, walls, and floors using a rotation of agents including Vesphene, LPH, and Peridox. 2. Empty and wash all trash receptacles, replace liners, and remove waste to designated areas. 3. Clean and sanitize designated surfaces such as benches, carts (including supplies), and the exterior of hoods with IPA and Cleanroom Wipes. 4. Clean all equipment including refrigerators with IPA; ensure areas behind and beside are cleaned as well. 5. Clean doors and glass windows with IPA and D/I Water. 6. Sanitize bins and shelves with IPA; restore all items moved to their original locations. 7. Maintain a monthly cleaning log titled 'Monthly Documentation of Contracted Triple Clean of ISO 7 IV Room Suite' to validate completion of tasks. 8. Ensure that all cleaning is performed by trained personnel using contractor-supplied equipment, chemicals, and supplies.
