Background The 15 Test and Evaluation Squadron (15 TES) is seeking to enhance its audiovisual capabilities by installing advanced audio/visual (AV) equipment and conferencing capabilities at Nellis Air Force Base (AFB), NV. The goal of this contract is to facilitate effective communication and presentations within their auditorium space, thereby supporting the mission of the 15 TES. Work Details The scope of work includes the installation of Auditorium AV equipment and conferencing capabilities, which encompasses all necessary peripherals and cables. Key specifications include: - Installation in Building 620, Room 5, which measures 48' x 20' (960 sq ft) with a telecommunications closet of 6' x 8' (48 sq ft). - A control processor to manage all devices throughout the auditorium, providing audio control and managing sources sent to all displays. - Video switching capabilities from a central touch panel located at the front desk. - Installation of 2x 7,150 lumen projectors as primary displays, along with 3x additional 75” screens mounted on each side as secondary displays, and a confidence monitor at the rear for presenters. - A single content source 8-port KVM for content sharing across multiple PCs at different classification levels. - VTC capabilities supported by AF7 network with government-provided equipment for audience capture during calls. - Audio system including an amplifier and speakers with echo cancellation, featuring 2x TOA IR handheld microphones and 8x ceiling speakers. - All equipment will be housed in the existing telecommunications closet, with complete installation/mounting/programming required for the AV system. - Training and manuals will be provided to the 15th TES members responsible for operations and maintenance.
