Background The Special Forces Underwater Operations (SFUWO) Schoolhouse, part of the U.S. Army, is responsible for training special forces personnel in underwater operations. The schoolhouse operates a 660,000-gallon horizontal training tank located on Fleming Key, Key West, Florida. Due to a lack of dedicated personnel and resources from Naval Facilities and Engineering (NAVFAC), the SFUWO requires external support for pool maintenance services. This contract aims to fill that support gap by ensuring the pool is properly maintained and operational for training purposes. Work Details The contractor shall provide comprehensive pool maintenance services which include: - Routine cleaning of the pool; - Chemical testing and balancing to ensure water quality; - Maintenance of pool equipment; - Emergency repair response services. The contractor is required to supply all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items needed to fulfill these requirements. The contractor must also ensure that all services comply with applicable technical/manufacturer specifications as well as local, state, and federal regulations. Specific tasks include but are not limited to: - Maintaining cleanliness of the pool area; - Performing regular inspections of pool equipment; - Responding promptly to any emergency repair needs; - Providing documentation of all maintenance activities. Period of Performance 25 March 2026 - 24 March 2027 with four option periods available for extension. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at the Special Forces Underwater Operations Schoolhouse located on Fleming Key, Key West, Florida.
