Work Details The Contractor shall provide all manpower, equipment, fuel, tools, supervision, and other necessary items to perform mowing and trimming services at Harlan County Lake near Republican City, Nebraska. Specific tasks include: 1) Mowing turf areas to a height of 3 inches while avoiding damage to trees and shrubs; 2) Trimming around trees, shrubs, buildings, and other objects; 3) Ensuring all areas present a neat appearance free from un-mowed strips or debris; 4) Removing grass clippings from sidewalks and entrances post-mowing; 5) Adhering to safety regulations as outlined in the Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Manual; 6) Designating an on-site representative for quality control; 7) Maintaining required insurance coverage including worker’s compensation and general liability; 8) Following a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) for performance evaluation. Period of Performance Services are to be performed from April 1 through September 30 each year during weekdays between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with specific orders expected prior to major holidays.
