Background The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Port Hueneme Detachment (PHD) is seeking technical training support services for the 11 Meter Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB) Operator Course. This initiative is part of the Maintenance Planning & Product Support Infrastructure (E27) Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Surface Warfare (SUW) training plan. The goal is to develop and instruct two different RHIB operator training courses for LCS Squadrons, ensuring personnel are equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. Work Details The contractor will provide the following training services: 1. LCS 11M RHIB Operations & Maintenance Course (SUW13): A three-week course designed to impart LCS-specific knowledge, skills, and abilities for journeymen level coxswains. The course will include various learning objectives as specified in Part A of the SOW. 2. LCS 11M RHIB Coxswain Proficiency Course (SUW22): A one-week course focused on enhancing coxswain skills proficiency, providing additional control time to improve journeymen and master level coxswains' knowledge and skills. This course will also incorporate specific learning objectives outlined in Part B.
