Background The Housing Assistance Management Enterprise (HAME), in partnership with the Housing Authority of Salt Lake City (HASLC), Xylem Projects, and Common Grounds Institute (CGI), is soliciting proposals for the construction of The Lupine, a new multi-family affordable housing building. The Lupine aims to provide approximately 133 family-sized units for low- and moderate-income households, contributing to the revitalization of a currently vacant site. Work Details The selected General Contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, supervision, and construction services necessary to complete The Lupine building. Key responsibilities include: 1. Demolition of the existing one-story annex building on-site. 2. Site preparation including clearing, grading, excavation, and foundation work. 3. Construction of the building's core and shell including structural systems and exterior finishes. 4.
